Im using this millennium electronic cymbal with my Roland Octapad, just plug and play.
It says to be a "crash" cymbal, but I'm using it as a ride cymbal, just wanted this because it occupies less space.
Yes, the choke function works )) You just need to get a stereo cable. (if you use a mono cable, it will work only single zone).
I use this cymbal together with a few other accessories that I got from Thomann (the sssnake SPP2015 stereo jack cable, millenium DB115 cymbal boom arm and the Mapex MC910 multi clamp). The Mapex multi clamp goes attached to the Roland tripod where my Octapad is.
This electronic cymbal is really good looking, modern, looks cool next to any instrument, high quality looking, the top plastic part is mirror black like, the pad par is as any other typical pad ))
Regarding quality and performance I'm 100% satisfied.
Dispatched next day, it took around 10 calendar days to arrive to Saint Petersburg, Russia. Safe packing as usual.
Thanks Thomann team ))
