I quite like the idea of having a carry case for our power amp and certainly it does this well. Our amp is quite deep from front to back but fitted in fine. The problem here is that if you move things around alot the component parts tend to wear out. Both zips broke within 18 months and the outer padding began to slip over the wooden interior. Basically I feel its a great idea but just needs better quality materials to make it suitable for the gigging musician.

Millenium Rack Bag 2
Markus201 31.08.2014
I originally bought this bag to carry my audio interface and it's basing wiring around. It was very good for that job, since it has quite a lot space in the back. It is easy to load it up with cables needed for the job and carry it around.
It fullfilled it's job very well and since I've used it for carrying other audio devices too. The overall quality is decent and it is hard enough to earn some trust considering the travelling part of a gig.
The desing is well thought and the lids can attach themselves to the sides with piece of velcro. That's neat way to keep them out of the way.
I have one complain though; the rackstrips are quite a far apart, so all rack equipment won't go there without a serious fight. I have had even one eq, that did have too narrow holes to fit at all.

Build quality not amazing, probably fine for light use
Anonymous 01.06.2014
I bought this to carry a Hartke LH500 bass head.
It was fine for a while but some of the screws fell out (something other reviewers have found) and eventually one of the zips broke.
It was good for a first rack case and the shoulder strap was very useful. I think if you aren't a heavy user then it would be ok.
After this broke I upgraded to a solid rack case which has proven to be more sturdy.

Screws fell out
David B. 752 26.09.2013
The bag has had very light use but after a short time I noticed two of the screws securing the fabric to the inner case had disappeared. Full marks to Thomann though as they replaced the case immediately and I didn't even have to return the old one.

it is a cheap solution

well, it works if you don't want to spend a fortune on a bag. But if you already did on a Yamaha motif rack, probably it is better to invest in a hardcase.
