Goede case voor het geld
Landerd 11.08.2021
Pro's; prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend.

YP
Good Rack Bag!
Yakovlev Pavel 04.12.2019
Build quality is really good! The 4U Rack Back itself is really lite. Overall very satisfied with this rack bag. The only disadvantage for me was that It doesn't have rack rails on the rear panel. But I knew it before buying, so I mounted additional back rails by myself. Currently this bag carries 4U front + 3U rear. It became a very heavy rig, so now I'm looking for a 8U Rack case on wheels with a handle. But this bag will stay for a secondary lightweight rig. So I DO totally recommend this 4U Rack Bag. Best bang for a buck! Thanks, Thomann!

B
Very impressed with the build quality
BruceScotland 22.01.2018
I bought this to carry a Soundcraft Ui16 digital mixer and it has been very impressive. I had wanted a hard rack case but as I was on a tight budget I opted for this option and it has served me well. Despite heavy use and being lifted in and out of the van hundreds of times the seams have held up well and the zippers - often the weak point of some gigbags I have had in the past - are still going strong. It's coped well with the odd knock and protected the equipment well. I have also been surprised that no tears have appeared, as again I have found this a problem with gig bags. The large pocket on the side proves handy and the shoulder strap always helps to cut the number of runs back and forth into a venue. I have tended to use it standing up with the mixer/stagebox in the top and the structure has remained pretty robust, with it holding its shape properly and sitting nicely well balanced on the stage. Although it's never been properly soaked, it has also seemed to be pretty weatherproof whenever conditions have been poor on a load in or out.

Great for the price!
Edgar Blackdagger 01.07.2020
This bag deels sturdy and has a reassuring, not too much weight, so it could be used for your "mobile" rig or your studio rig.

I have a small studio and I was looking for a classic metal rack box but after researching I concluded this is a better solution, it's more sturdy than anything else in the pricepoint, it's more protected, just in case you move it, it's non reflecting and your gear is well protected from dust.
I only have solid-state rack gear, heat is not an issue, so I am able to close the back of the bag, with only a small opening for cables and that's it, when I'm not using the gear, I can always close the front too to protect the equipment, especially the pots.

For me, this is the best solution for tabletop racks.

Really convenient rackmounts!
Kenny B. 13.11.2014
If like us you're a regularly gigging band (tangointhenight.co.uk & coldfeettheband.com) you need your flight cases to be A: protective B: stackable C: lightweight D: Resilient.
These cases are all of these things, we have 6, enclosing heavy amplifiers, and delicate digital fx units and stageboxes. 176 gigs last year, and nothing to report... excellent!
The best money solution for flight cases in my opinion.

Not much to complain about here, this is just what it says it is. I wish I could segment off the back to shorten the space behind my units a little bit, but this is a very minor complaint. There is plenty of room for cable management, a power strip, and a small dog in there if need be. The case is sturdy and the units are held securely.

A portable rack.... Excellent
Jason Y. 08.09.2014
The millennium rack bag is an ingenious idea. It is a huge hassle transporting rack equipment, whether from the practice space to the studio or even from home to a gig. Now there is an answer. The millennium rack bag is a sturdy casing with zipped front and back panels which allow easy access to your rack gear. Both panels have a Velcro strip which keeps them firmly stuck to the sides of the case when in use. The case features high quality zips that don't stick and a zipped pocket on the top of the case. There are rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from moving around. The rack is sturdy and it's a cool looking alternative to the traditional rack.
When the front and back panels are opened and bel crowd to the sides they provide the perfect hanger for spare leads or even for wrapping long leads around.
The rack unit inside the case is removable but it feels sturdier in the bag. Depending on the number or rack units you use there may be space on the bottom of the rack bag where you can Velcro your effects pedals for storage in transit.
Cheaper than a standard rack and transportable, plus the additional storage possibilities, and it comes in various sizes, why would you pay more for less.

It's good for what it is but don't overload it in weight
Nick1028 23.08.2014
I bought one of these to carry my two power amplifiers around for gigs an what not! My budget was limited an therefore i needed something relatively cheap to do the job because as you may now cases like these are not cheap. Thats what took me to this. This is relatively cheap an good value for money, it has protected my amps for during many gigs and travelling round. My only comments are that i do fear that it is going to break as it is very heavy and the case its self isn't very strong, its just wood and soft material so if you are planning on carrying power amps or anything heavy in this i wouldn't recommend it. Apart from that very happy with it!!

Fell to pieces very quickly
MikeGRT 15.04.2018
Very bulky and ripped easily. The threads cross with very little effort on the rack mount system itself. Extremely heavy for what it is and difficult to carry. Mine's in the bin now...

Sturdy

It doesn't seem like its going to fall apart any time soon and the general construction seems very good.
My only problem is with the shoulder strap. For me it could do with being a bit longer also if they reinforced the part where it goes over the metal connector it would be more stable.
