Cost effective rack unit - has some flaws

You can mount quite a lot of rack equipment in this so I've found it very useful in my home studio, where I'm not bothered about protecting the equipemt or too bothered about cabling etc.

However, some of the screw sockets are defective, or it was the bolts it came with that didn't fit properely and tapped into the threads, renedering them unusable. There are therefore a couple of U that I can't use unless I drill through the screw holes and then just use a nut to fasten the bolt - not ideal.

I've also found the frame containing the screw holes extends quite far into the space where the rack unit sits. Hence, a 6U, deep unit was incredibly difficult to mount as some screw heads sticking out of the body didn't clear the rack frame. I haven't had a problem before with this unit in flight cases etc.

It does not feel cheap or flimsy, is easy to assemble and use. The sizing of the lower rack was I think a little under because a drawer I bought separately did not fit, and other units fit barely. Overall, good item, would buy again.

It is a very good rackmount stand/trolley and is easy to move on wheels and then great to have stationary as it has wheel locks, however it would be good if you could adjust the overal height of the frame up or down, overall an excellent buy for the price :) very happy with my purchase.
