These Millenium ring match perfectly on any drums. A bargain compared to other brands, price is equal for the level of sonic impact you'll get. These rings help improve drum skin sound and you don't need to change drum heads because thy just sit on top of the drum skin. They work amusingly to get rid of any extra unwanted reverb from the Shells and Snare of the drum kit but if they don't lie flat then they will come off the drum kit when you hit the drums. I am using moongel on top of Millenium Sound Control Ring to not came off and to further damped reverberation of shell.

Control Rings, who knew?
Possibly the best value for money upgrade I've ever heard in 20 years music making. I cannot believe the difference that these set of simple plastic rings made to my drum kit!
Placed on the drumhead they do away with all the small overtones/buzzes/ringing sounds that come from your kit. Honestly I'd never even noticed them before, but doing a quick A/B with them on and off the kit, and the difference is staggering. I read someone on a forum talking about these, and I got them on a whim when I was placing an order for some skins, not expecting much, but honestly, I was astonished. My studio kit sounds much better now for recording. And they are so cheap. Highly recommended.

really useful, especially with gels/stickers
For the percussionist who cares about the sound, these things are a must. I would use them for live performance ocasionally, but mostly for studio/rehearsal. Their cost and flexibility make them an essential component of the drummer who can hear and tell the difference. Otherwise dont bother, as they don't store that well -you have to leave them flat, untattered, and unbent, otherwise you have problems. I have several sets for each kit I use, and always have spares around.

Best value way to calm your drums!
Our drums were ringing out significantly and just muddying the mix, moon gel worked ok but we seemed to need loads, these solved the issue of long decay and are extremely good value.
If you want a tight mix from your drums look no further than these.

Great value Control - better than tape or moongel !
I bought these to add to the evans rings I already have - i needed a new snare one & some different sized tom toms. They work just as well, dampening the ringing really well- much better than tape or moongel. Not as thick as the branded ones but have the same effect- would also like the snare one to be wider- but just a small point.
