They sound a little quieter but are not really that quiet.
Good Life Guy 09.09.2022
I would recommend these if someone is looking for a sharper sound with more spread.

I would consider these a specific cymbal sound rather than standard cymbals that are just quieter.

They are great value for money and would fit great both for a full kit, or as an add on to your cymbal locker for when you want that sharp, spreadout sound.

Will do their job

Crashes and ride are fine for what they are made for (low-volume practice with relatively good tone for the investment). Hi-hats are really high pitched and are actually the loudest piece on the set (Remo silent strokes here).

BUON PRODOTTO

Buon prodotto considerato il prezzo. Ma l'accoppiata con le pelli MESH della millenium non è vantaggiosa (pelli troppo silenziose in confronto ai piatti)

Quite fine except the hi-hat
Runzo 23.06.2022
As the title says, they sound pretty cool and with a very low volume. The hi-hat has a sound which is a bit annoying, very sharp and thin. Anyway they're not suited for being recorded at all, the sound will be far worse than expected, but they're a great tool for studying or small acoustic venues

Great for practice
Bish Bosh 28.03.2021
I have had these for about a year now and I am really happy. I wanted to make my kit quiet enough to practice without ear protection and without annoying the neighbours. A combination of these cymbals and T-shirts over the drums does the trick. You can hit them just like a regular cymbal and the sound isn't great, but it's fine for practice. I am doing my lessons on Zoom at the moment and my teacher can hear them OK. The only negative I would say is that they are very thin and so, when you hit the crash with the shoulder of the stick, it's a bit like hitting a blunt chisel. The shoulder of the stick gradually gets thinner and thinner and the kit is surrounded by tiny drum stick splinters so don't use expensive sticks! If you want to make your practice quieter, then I would totally recommend them.
Good - they are quiet and they are excellent value
Bad - the tone isn't fantastic, drum sticks don't last as long

Definetely more silent than regular cymbals, but has a very «zizzly», high frequent sound.

Good practice option
DGill 04.04.2018
I'm using these for home practice - all sound pretty good for low volume cymbals and have a quality weight to them. The only complaint is that hi-hats and ride are louder than the crashes, they are still low volume but the balance of sound would be better if they we a little quieter. Still an excellent option.

Excellent for the price
moderndrumlab 30.09.2023
At this price range they are the best you can get. If you want something more durable and better sounding spend some more money.
