Die Suche hat endlich ein Ende - die Mojotone 59 Clone Low Output Humbucker machen genau das, was eine Les Paul tun soll!

Sie klingen warm, chimey, transparent und twangy. Sowohl Bridge als auch Neck-Pickup haben eine komplett klare Saitentrennung, keine Dominanz in den Tiefmitten. Insgesamt klingt meine Paula nun fast wie eine fette Telecaster, aber gepaart mit dem typischen "Schmatzen". Ebenfalls die Zwischenposition klingelt schön. Durch den etwas geringeren Output klingen die Pickups viel offener, luftiger und produzieren kein Matschen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung, Preis-Leistung Top!

Wichtiger Hinweis: Ich verwende ein 50s-Wiring mit Mallory 22nf Caps, womit die beiden Pickups wunderbar interagieren, durch die Ton-Potis erreicht man einen Mitten-Cut bis Woman Tone und beim Runterdrehen des Volumes bleiben die Höhen erhalten und die PUs immer transparent.
