I am extremely happy with this bass recorder. It is equally powerful throughout it's range which is an octave and a sixth. I particularly like not having keys on the notes except for the low F. This allows for some shading of the s and not having the key noise when you play the notes. I like that the instrument is made Maple and not Pear wood. The ynseker design is so beautiful. Lastly, Thomann gave great support when the shipment got delayed in Chicago. I had it within 2 days. Thanks Thomann!!!
