Only the best for my precious guitars.
fommof 08.07.2020
I bought this to move around my two strats (obviously not at the same time). They are the only guitars I play the last +12 years, they are so heavily modified to my personal specs that they are practically my signature guitars. That means that if anything happens to them, I would never be able to replace them.

And that's where this gig bag comes into play.

It seems it's bulletproof, it has excellent padding all around which justifies the overal weight of this gig bag which is about 2.4Kg. I reckon it's at least a kilo more than any of my other gig bags but so much lighter than any of the hard cases or semi-hard/semi-soft bags/cases I ever had so no big deal.

Great quality straps, zippers and side handle. The top hand is clearly only for "auxiliary" use which explains why it's on the thin side and not padded but it's still useful and nice to have it.

No complaints about the pocket either as I never put anything more than a few picks, a couple sets of strings, a couple pieces of clothe, a Fastfret and a cable but yeah, for someone that needs to put a lot more stuff that could be a dealbreaker.

Come to think of it, the only thing I would like to see is a strap pocket at the back of the bag so you can take them out of my way and store the straps when I am not using them (say like Fender FE610), instead of them being hunging but that's alright. Not a big deal for someone that uses the straps more than the side handle.

To sum up, if you want something to carry your precious guitars around, with extreme maximum protection/mimum weight ratio and you can afford it, then just buy it and call it a day,

N
Must have
Nikos.b 05.03.2017
I just received this gig bag and I am already impressed. This is not your average bag that you buy at your local guitar store. If you own an expensive guitar that is dear to your heart, this is a must have case.

The build quality is awesome, very rugged outer surface. The bag is reinforced, it is somewhere between a gig bag and a hard case: optimum for travel.
The inside is made of very soft (fluffy) material. The neck fits perfectly in the neck pocket and will not move as it will be secured once you close the bag.
This is a top loading bag; your guitar goes from the top without opening the whole bag. In fact, the zipper of the bag goes down to 3/4 of the bag only (you can't open the whole bag).
There's even a small space at the inside bottom of the bag for the strap button.
The outer bottom of the bag is made of heavy duty rubber (looks like a boot). The bag will even stand on its own with the guitar inside it.
The outer pocket will fit a decent amount of stuff, it has a double pocket inside. It will not however fit all your pedals and jack cables (it's of average size).

Recommended, your guitar will thank you!

Almost bulletproof
WatSound 09.03.2021
My first Mono case. I'm not a pro, but after I got tired of bringing my guitar in the usual heavy case every time I go to school, especially during wintertime with cold or under the rain i chose this armored case thanks to the suggestion of my teacher, that already got one.
Obviously it's more expensive than others, but it definitely worth it; no regrets.
Danke Thomann for the awesome service and the ultra fast delivery!

J
TOP NOTCH GIGBAG
JDeligero 21.05.2020
This gig bag is pricey but totally worth it. If you are like me, a serious professional gigging musician this is amazing. This keeps your guitar safe and you don't worry about this guitar laying in the trunk of your car, compartment of the airplane, the tram, or the metro.

One thing I wish this guitar case had was an extra pocket, something like the pocket on the semi-hollow version of this case. A place to pull my cellphone charger, keys, etc.
