Live on air

The Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System makes wireless digital transmission an easy and affordable option for electric guitars, electric basses, and other electrically amplified instruments. Featuring four switchable channels, the AP10 allows up to four systems to be used in parallel, making it ideal for a classic Rock band setup comprising two electric guitars, an electric bass, and possibly an extra guitar for the vocalist. The 2.4GHz ISM band enables uncompressed data transmission of the 24-bit / 48kHz A/D converter signal with a wide frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz and a dynamic range of around 103dB. The Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System also boasts a range of up to 15m, a battery life of around five hours, and a latency of under five milliseconds for signal transmission, rivalling far more expensive wireless systems in terms of performance.

For a safer stage environment

Digital wireless transmission of instrument signals is a game-changer on the stage, eliminating the long instrument cables that can pick up interference from other cables – such as lighting cables – dotted around the stage, and allowing musicians to roam more freely across the stage with a reduced risk of trip hazards. As a result, the Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System delivers a safer stage setup, where musicians can move and perform with the desired freedom, without endangering themselves or others. Using the Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System could not be simpler: All the user has to do is plug one unit into the instrument's output, select a channel, and activate, then connect the other unit to the amp's input, select a channel, and activate, and they're ready to go! With a fully charged battery, the system will run for around five hours.

Wireless freedom

Affordable and easy to set up, the Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System is ideal for any musician who plays an instrument that has a jack socket and who craves greater freedom on stage. For beginners who are not yet wholly accustomed to the stage, the AP10 system also removes some of the stress of performing live by removing the potential trip hazards posed by cables, while the digital transmission signal is largely resistant to the noise interference that could otherwise be induced in the cable by other stage equipment cables. Experienced musicians will also appreciate what the Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System has to offer, especially as the price – which covers both the transmitter and receiver unit – is comparable to that of a high-quality 10m-long instrument cable.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

Wireless wonder world

The primary setting for the Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System is, without doubt, the live performance stage. It is here that the AP10 showcases its strengths, including unrestricted freedom of movement and reduced noise caused by interference – an issue that can arise with transmission via instrument cables – in their entirety. With a battery life of up to five hours, the Mooer AP10 Air Plug Wireless System is more than equipped to handle longer shows, while its power-saving mode, which automatically shuts off the transmitter during pauses in play, extends the run time even further. These features, which work so well on the stage, will also prove ideal in the rehearsal room, where cable interference can be equally troublesome, and the trip hazard posed by drinks and poor lighting is just as high as that encountered during live performances on the stage. The affordable price tag also makes investing in a backup unit, or combining multiple units for added versatility, a viable option.

Not suitable for stage
Stewart V. 21.03.2022
I previously owned 3 sets of Thomann's equivalent of the Mooer wifi system. They were nice when they worked but not reliable enough. I'd hoped that the Mooer would be better as it was more expensive. It wasn't. It developped a fault after just a month of studio use. My conclusion is that all these small inexpensive wireless systems are ok for studio use but you can't take them on stage with any confidence. I returned the Mooer for a refund and spent a lot more money on buying something which i hope will be a lot better

Good wireless unit

The "cordless" chord is perfect for stage playing, where you want the mobility and avoid tripping over your self. In the practice garage, however it kills the WiFi, annoying both the band members and surrounding neighbors. The ability to use different channels, keeps it simple for each band member to stay out of each others signal. Battery is surprisingly good.

You get what you pay for

Although its not a bad.. its not good either, and the reason is the battery.. it barely holds for arround 3hours and something,
Thats barely a gig for me and as every other device that has a rechargeable battery the duration is lower and lower in every charge..
Other than that it works ok with a fair signal arround 15-20meters of no obstables,
I would not recomend it to anyone that wants to use it on a regular basis
