Bought this as I needed a Shoulder rest when I bought an electric violin and wanted to have one shoulder rest in each case.
However, this shoulder rest is not a shoulder rest I would recommend. It has two, for me, big flaws:
First: The feet are screwed straight into plastic and jiggle as soon as you touch them which keep it falling of the violin constantly. Every time I pick the violin from the hanger the shoulder rest falls off. Which for me is unacceptable due to the need of fast switching between instruments I end up having to play without shoulder rest (sometimes I haven't got the time to pick up and mount the shoulder rest again)
Second: Since the feet are screwed straight into the plastic there is no flexibility so it takes a lot more room in the violin case.
I ended up buying a Resonans shoulder rest from Thomann in next order and put this as a spare one.

To short screws

The short screws of the shoulder rest allowed no room for adaptability, which in turn caused bad posture.
But the pad is confortable. Don't buy it if you have a rather long neck.
