Perfect for nasty tones!
Vetzbass 29.05.2017
Had my eyes on this one for quite some time, finally decided to get it. Before this one I had a copy of Proco RAT and I was very satisfied with it but it started to break so I decided to take a look for something similar. I must say this one is really the thing! Does the job perfectly, from some RAT sounds and even more. I really like those Wet and Dry controls, not using Dry control that much but it is an always good option. Both Ryan from Fuzzrocious and guys from MXR have done a great job! Only thing I would change about this pedal is footswitch, maybe put a soft switch in it, but okay, it's not a thing to worry about. Great build quality, sounds even better. 9/10

Nasty good
Nowyn 16.04.2017
One of the best RAT style distortion pedals out there! Combines both classic RAT and Turbo RAT circuits via toggle switch. Solves the biggest problem of typical RAT clones via clean signal blending. Killer pedal for anyone looking for a grindy and focused distortion.

Typical MXR pedal: solid build, killer price, versatility and a small footprint.

A
NICE!
Anonymous 16.12.2015
This pedal does what it promises. This is not fuzz or overdrive but real distortion for bass and thanks to the separate volume controls for clean and distorted signal there's is no loss of lows. This pedal does anything from a little added grit to fullblown metal insanity, And it sounds great!

P
A bit too thin sounding for my taste
Plghrsko 28.09.2018
Might just be me not knowing how to dial a better tone, or maybe it's just the rest of my rig, but it sounds too thin for a fuzz/ distortion (for my taste only!). It gets better if you really crank the dry knob but then gets too loud and unbalanced. An additional master volume would have been nice
