Having used the adult sized straps, I went with the junior strap for a beginner as the other options had an equivalent price. The padding made it easier for the student to get used to having the weight of a sax hanging from their neck. The length of the strap would be best suited to children up to pre-teens. The ring hook is durable over a long time.
