Neural DSP Quad Cortex Gigcase

The case looks better in pictures than it actually dose. It's pretty functional and giving few compartments for the power adapter and USB cable.

However after only light use the plastic handle has split only after 1 gig and a few rehearsals. The split is not quite all the way through yet but its just a matter of time so all convinced in the case is gone.

I recommend this only for home use but to be honest if you need to put your qc away often the original box would be just as good. This case in my opinion should not be used for gigging.

The quality seems good, it is very sturdy. I have seen a lot of people saying the handle breaks too easily, so keep that in mind. The shoulder straps works well and seems sturdy enough. If you plan to travel with only your axe and the QC, this is what you need. If you want an expression pedal or anything like that, I think you are better of using some kind of pedalboard setup instead. In my opinion they could have made it even smaller, the extra space for the power supply seems unnecessary, as that can easily fit into any guitar case. Overall a great compact case I would trust to keep my QC safe on my way to both rehersals and gigs.

I've had this case for a little over 2 months and the handle came off with no way to reattach it and I've mostly been driving with it to rehearsals, almost no gigs. Every shop I went to refused to fix it because it would require too much work and they had no specialized tools.

Thomann have sent a replacement so we'll see if that one holds itself together. Otherwise it's a very nice and sturdy case that's really handy to have

EDIT: I got a replacement shortly after this review, but now half a year later the same thing happened. Screws inside the case got loose and the handle fell off. Neural seriously need to check what's going on
