Great Friction Mallet

Using this , creates a really nice deep tone from my Paiste Gong, the sound is like a creaking old ship , I like to hold the mallet close to the top to get this tone , but if I hold it further to the end the tone is lighter, a great purchase and very satisfying to use .

I love resonant stuff on gong. This one gives exactly what I need on my 90cm gong. With little practice you can get amazing resonant sounds. It feels very good in terms of quality. Do not hesitate buying this if you like resonant sounds.

My favorite friction mallet!

This friction mallet is great. Great build quality, the size makes it comfortable to use and it brings out great tones on my symphonic gong. Yes it leaves a rubber trail on the surface of the gong but these are easily removed with a microfiber cloth. Would definitely recommend having one of these in your flumie collection.
