I use triggers mainly for playing metal and fast double bass. I use them combined with Roland TM-1 module connected with two separate inputs.

Pros:
* Triggers don't depend on the vibrations of the drum head, so a lot of false triggering coming from sympathetic vibrations caused by other drums and instruments is eliminated.

* In essence triggers need to be set/mounted only once. Once set/mounted, you only need to adjust them accordingly by bending the metal, on which the sensor is mounted, when moving the bass drum pedal from bass drum to some other drum kit/bass drum.

* No need to change trigger settings in the module to accommodate different bass drums, or need to meddle with the bass drum to avoid false triggering.

* Extra replacement sensor that is easy to replace.
* Ability to buy more replacement sensors from the manufacturer, which are pretty cheap in my opinion.

Cons:
From subjective point of view I couldn't find any cons, but I can see that some people might consider the following things as a con:
* Need to buy extra cables to connect triggers to a drum module
* To avoid any problems you need to use two inputs on the module instead of one.
* The sensor is being hit directly, so it can be easily damaged if not set properly (Is mentioned by the manufacturer).

All in all a very good affordable product for drummers that play a lot of fast double bass.

Hard to setup, but amazing performance.
Mikey D 31.03.2022
I've spent at least 4h trying to get the trigger tapes, placements and trigger sensor angles right. It was utterly frustrating to setup. Once I did though nothing compares in accuracy and sensitivity. Once you'll get it right any bass drum from 16 to 22" or loose to tight will deliver. Gigging drummers best friend.

N
Eliminates most trigger issues
Nonsensei 06.02.2021
Attaching the trigger to the pedal eliminates most of the issues you will likely run into when the trigger is mounted against the drumhead. The tension of the drumhead no longer plays any part in how the trigger responds, so you can have a normal acoustic kick drum sound from your bass drum while also being able to use these triggers. No more misfired triggers due to the drumhead vibrations, no more false triggering from the snare.

Putting them on is a bit of a hassle, but once they're on, you likely won't need to do it again anytime soon. Just make sure you have at least 30 mins and a couple of beers for the process. Make sure to plan ahead how you position the trigger cables as well.

Pros:
- no mistriggers from the drumhead or other drums
- accurate
- always in place after installation

Cons:
- installation takes time and care
- cable management takes some effort

Perfect!
Cinnamon Moelleux 11.11.2022
Cheap and great quality, only downside is that i often have to adjust it after a few songs as it tends to get pushed down by heavy kick strokes. Using it to trigger a samplepad and the response and sensitivity is good.

Easy and reliable
Kjartan 26.08.2020
The on Triggers are easy to set up and give good response. They also come with replacement sensors if one goes bad. The jack cable could be a little shorter though. It gets in the way sometimes.

t
fantastic triggers
thewitchfinder 23.06.2020
Great triggers, easy to install & set up,no more bass trigger working loose off the bass hoop when playing live, faster setup times on kit shares, very reliable reliable triggering, have replaced the bass pad on my electronic drum pad with mesh bass drum & just use these as it triggers better than the roland & yamaha pads. i bought one set of these for my studio kit, now have them on my home electronic kit & just ordered another set for my live pedals... so thats 3 sets of these.

10/10 simple, effective & very good value for money

I mounted these on triggers on my Pearl Eliminator double pedal and use them on both my kits together with the roland tm2.
I was searching for another trigger system then the most used (on the drumheads itself) so i could easily swap it between my 2 kits.

These on triggers are ideal for that !

Amazing
Saint Ra-7 28.07.2024
My drum teacher recommended these triggers together with the Roland TM-2 module and had to adjust some stuff in the module.

Pro’s:
-The response is great
-Adjustable and durable
-When aligned good no false triggering
-Fit perfectly on many pedals

Cons:
-The Piezo’s will stop responding after very long time use (2 years)
But it’s and Easy fix
-When false triggering they will get on your nerves
