poor connectors

I was planning to use these cables to connect an OctoPre to a Scarlett interface and was facing sync issues. First doubting the equipment, I switched those 2 "snakes" for some cheap Amazon basic optical cables which work flawlessly. It seems that the fancy (but useless) golden connectors struggle to keep the optical cables in place, whereas the cheap Amazon stuff just works.

Doesn't hold in place

I bought the cables to connect my Focusrite octopre dynamic to my Universal audio Appolo8 thunderbolt , the connectors don't hold in place and with the lightest touch they fall out of the connector , I can only use them when I tape them to the gear :-(

Cheap and cheerful

I bought these for my studio and home music applications. I looked else where online and found them to be expensive. This lead was strong, flexible and of a high quality. Don't get ripped off by lesser quality leads.

Works as expected

Decent optical cable for your ADAT interface

Bought two of these to connect my main USB interface to ADA8200 preamp and they work as they should, after all it's just an optical cable, it either works or not, used one of them to plug to connect PS3 and they certainly were unplugged, plugged again, bent and pulled with some force few times and they still work.

1m Snake

I use the Snake optical cable from my Saffire Pro 40 to an Audient ID 14.
Cable seems well constructed and I find the 1 metre length just perfect for my setup. I have had no problems with this cable and would not hesitate to buy again.

These optical cables feel quite fragile, and I have had some of them break at the connector part. They are cheap, but I'm not sure I would buy them again due to their fragility.

have some problmes with mine

1 end of my connector seems to be making horrible noises when touched/moved slightlly, ordering a 2nd one to see if it have the same issues, but given the price i am happy with the fact that it works :)

Cable broke early.

Unfortunately the cable broke early. it doesn't work anymore. I noticed that the internal optical fiber comes out, I don't know if it depends on this, but it doesn't work.
