I have tried a few other Bluetooth pedals for my iPad (I am a cellist) - AirTurn ped pro was nice and slim -but as it was touch sensitive, it proved too unpredictable on uneven surface or carpeted floor, and pairing was quite convoluted. I then upgraded to AirTurn BT200 which I loved, it had proper spring action pedals, so I could depress pedal for each turn which is very reassuring, but unfortunately pairing became glitchy after only a few months. HOWEVER I have been using my Pageflip Butterfly for 9 months and it is the SIMPLEST to use- it is very uncomplicated, pairing is instant, and the pedal action is very satisfactory. Yes it’s a little clunky looking but for peace of mind I would recommend this each time, hands down. Initially I was also dubious as it is battery- operated ( the Airturns were both chargeable and also could read battery level on my my iPad which was so helpful), and was worried I wouldn’t know if it would run out,but I am over that now. I just make sure to have spare batteries with me on each gig. 9months+ on first set of batteries so the battery life is good. If you are looking for a basic page-turning pedal for performances then I highly recommend this one
