Over the years i have had many drum kits and many different accessories. So I know a little bit about kits and cymbals. I should had known better when purchasing cheap cymbals. This is exactly what this is. Cheap and nasty. The only reason i am keeping this and not returning is because it has its uses as just a practice cymbal. This is not a gigging or recording piece of kit. If you want a decent cymbal then you must spend the money. There are a few cheap cymbals around that sound pretty good but this is not one of those.
Save your money and buy a proper splash cymbal unless your happy to use it for just practicing!!!!

Save Up for a Better Splash
Anonymous 21.06.2016
I had many problems with this splash. It was far too quiet and was hard to hear it when playing in the band or through the other cymbals. It broke quickly, the bell shattered which has never happened before and I'm usually quite careful about not hitting too hard.
I would say it's an ok enough splash if money's really tight and you're a beginner and you want to try out having a splash, but really when it comes to splashes you need to spend a bit more if you want to get something worth having in the long run.
