I really liked this cymbal but I came back to my orders to check when I actually bought it because I now need to order a replacement. It lasted for 14 months of rehearsing roughly once per week (minus holidays, etc) so I would say I used it for 52-56 times 2-3hour sessions. Yes, I do hit fairly hard, when people (not that many during the past covid year) have mentioned that we are a Loud band, everybody tends to point at me and say "we have a loud drummer so we need to keep up". Still, somehow it seems disappointing when a piece of equipment must get replaced "so soon". However, I can say I liked it given that I will order another one, but this time I'll order a thinner one to see if it makes any difference in durability.

Paiste PST7 16" Heavy Crash
didsideout 24.02.2020
Really nice sound for the price, Great look. I am playing alternative rock and this cymbal you can use for have sounds like rock and even metal. My other 16 inch crash is Sabian HHX with more heavy sound and this Paiste is combing with him great.

I use it as a hi-hat and it's great
karton258 19.12.2022
I was looking for a cheap 16" hi-hat just to try it out and ended up getting two pst7 crashes - heavy on bottom, classic on top. I honestly haven't used anything else since (hi-hatwise). It's just perfect for me, slightly lower pitched than the "normal" 14" and doesn't scream out at all, just prfectly fits in my set! I mostly play rock 'n' roll stuff but would recommend it even for a jazz set. For the price it's absolutely worth trying if you are looking for a big hi-hat.

TQ
Paiste is rocking the low price
To Qhrion 02.02.2019
I'm a fan of Paiste cymbals. They don't cost much (PST 5 and PST7) and deliver nice sounds.
I'm using it for black metal drumming and the high, loud and sharp notes are pretty important to me. This cymbal accomplishes all of that.
Furthermore I already destroyed one of these, but it took me two years and I'm not treating my cymbals nicely.
The low price combined with the sound makes this a must have for me.
Would definitely buy again.
