Best buy power supply for small pedalboards
Josozmija 12.02.2020
I use this power supply for my 4 pedal pedalboard consisting of Crybaby Wah, TC Hypergravity Compressor, Carl Martin Lick Box, T-Rex Replay Box Delay. Before buying it I was advised to save some more money and go for more expensive power supplies such as Voodoo Lab but I bought this one anyway. It saved my a nice amount of money and I have no complaints about it. It provides enough power for my needs and there is no hum at all as it has isolated outputs. Also it is built very solid and doesn't take much space. Nice thing they could add would be a 12V output but I personally don't need it so im fine with all 9V outputs. All in all 5 stars from me!

Amazingly quiet
Clausione 05.11.2020
It is a big unit and I doubt it can be placed under the pedalboard because of its height (45 mm). It is a bit wider than a normal pedal, comparable with Behringer's Vintage Phaser and I placed on the board.

Inside you'll find a big toroidal transformer and all 5 outputs are independent and stabilized. You can't compare this tank with flimsy cheap electronic units. It has two LEDs one for power and one for overload. It comes with 10 cables for powering pedals (length without jacks - 60 cm), one daisy with 6 jacks, one cable for doubling the voltage and one cable for doubling the current. So you can power even a 18V pedal, or another hungry device which requires 500mA. With daisy cable you are no longer limited only of 5 pedals, you can power at least two more pedals, depending of consumption. The power unit is dead silent. None of my 5 pedals exhibits hiss, buzz or other kind of noises. Really, worth it any penny.

Great for beginners, but limiting.
Jagstang81 27.12.2021
I bought this product as I was on a budget at the time and was only getting started out on effects pedals. It was great in the begining to power my distortion and drive pedals and certain modulation pedals and did so quite well, but as it is limited to 250ma per output I found myself running into power issues when it came to expanding my pedal board. But for the money it is a great little unit if you're starting out and I still use mine on smaller rigs.

Best power supply for pedals I ever used! I use this power supply to power my tuner, noise gate and overdrive pedal in front of tube amp and it helps to bring down all unwanted noises guitar player can get when not supplying their pedals from 9V batteries. This power supply is quite heavy but it is reliable, very silent and bulit as tank! Five stars all over!

You can't get any better than this
stefgina 23.07.2018
Realistically 5 Isolated outputs for 80 euro is a sick deal!! I use this power supply for my palmer 60 pedalboard ( needed to change the position of 2 screws to actually fit into it - really easy, they provide you the key too). Except for the perfect fit, it does with the Palmer pedalboard, I think its construction is one the best out there. Sturdy and pretty easy to operate. Its literally one on/off button.

I am really glad I didn't go for the Benton powerplant or something more expensive than this.

ps: It supplies you its own daisy chain cabling, you don't need to buy one like I did. But after some use, you will want to split your 10 pedals for example into groups of two, so you will want like 5 daisy chains of two.. so buy some extra!)

Excellent quality item

Nicely solid and sturdy product, feels built like a tank. Definitely cleans the sound. Still playing around with settings to reduce the humming and feedback even more, but I can tell straight away, this little beast for a more than reasonable price does the job just the same. Thumbs up to the team of Thomann, very please with my first order, efficient, speedy and professional, specially coming from overseas. Thanks guys.

Little problem with this one
nickstomp 15.02.2019
Is a really good product but...

I havent considered two things: first: I have a Palmer Pedalbay 40 and to fit this under it you have to enlarge the top part almost to his maximum. also is very thick so you cannot put the feet all down. another problem is that is very difficult t put the power cable in it after has been mounted under it. Last but not least the weight is not so "light". The pro: as a power supply is massive!!! really low noise and good. I was only a bit disappointed because I was thinking that it will have better integrated with my pedalbay.

Great Quality PS !
Anonymous 09.10.2016
Bought this one to feed my pedals on my Palmer MI40.
It fits under the board perfectly (thx Thomann service for the info!).
It has 5 isolated outputs and an on-off switch on the side.
Its built is like a tank, pretty heavy but pretty stable too.
All you need is included in the package : cables (long & short), a 5 out daisy chain, and 2 Y cables (one doubles the current and the other doubles the output to 18vdc).
Don' t get fooled by the "big brands".....I'm pretty sure that once you unpack it you' ll understand the great quality this PS has.
This baby is solid as a rock!

a
perfect power supply
alat770 04.05.2016
I needed a smallish power supply for my new pedalboard, but with enough power to plug even more power-hungry pedals. This power supply does the job perfectly. And the price is very reasonable for the quality.

Each port provides enough power (250 mA) to supply a daisy chain with 5-6 pedals. At the moment I am using only one or two output and supply 7-8 pedals easily.

It is built like a tank and it is small enough to be easily fitted under any pedaltrain-type board.

All the cables are included in the box. It would have been awesome if a 3 way daisy chain was included as well, there is only a 6 way that in some cases is a bit too long. Oh well, you can live with it :)

All in all, awesome product, 5 stars.
