I use this splitter to have a problem free wet-dry rig.
The isolated output and phase reversal are a great feature for a two amp setup.
Extremely sturdy, this also makes it a bit on the heavy side.

Problem Solved!

A great little box that is the perfect solution for splitting a signal between amplifiers. The sound quality is excellent and the switching is silent. A very well made unit that is worth every penny.

Ultimate solution for splitting signals
Jason Y. 08.09.2014
I use this pga03 ybox to split my guitar to two amp heads and this box of magic is fantastic. There is no loss of signal and it is a a solid piece of kit; there is no chance of it falling apart or letting you down. The jack connections seem pretty high quality and it has good battery life. The phase reverse and ground lift functions are handy as well.
The pga03 is great and looks cool too with a nice blue finish.
What is great about the ybox is that there is no humming or buzzing, it is one of the best signal splitters out there.
This is my favourite tool, it allows me to run two signal chains, going through each channel of my compressor to both my amps. It has a solid built metal casing which after a year is still in as new condition. Runs on batteries or a power supply and mine came with a few palmer plectrums, which aren't bad in themselves; chalky feel and a decent thickness. This is far superior to a y cable or similar, only downside is you can't switch between each output like an a/b/y however for my needs this isn't important.

Very sturdy, works as intended

Built like a tank, and does the job. I could not detect any change to the sound.
The only negative is the metal "lip" around the housing, which makes this difficult to use with angled jacks.
The lip can be removed with a metal saw, though.

Built like a pocket tank, superb quality, active signal splitter. Indistinguishable by ear from boxes at more than twice the price. In daily use in my studio.

Does what is says

This is a great little box for splitting instrument signal to record dry signal along the amped version. Sound is clean, no complaints on that. Box seems durable, as Palmer units always do. Little button for checking if battery still works.
