I hoped there would be a bit more hands-on in the book.
It teaches a lot of stuff around modular, story, different modules. And a few patches.
But I'd really like it to be even more hands-on for beginners, such as "take the output from a VCO with triangle output, put it into ring modulator input 1. Then take the output from VCO [bla bla bla]" etc.

Even if you already know some things about the subject, it is still pleasant to read. It fills the gaps in your knowledge a bit. Some of the interviews seem to be a bit of name dropping, but overall nice to read.

Inspiring book. I’m rather new in the modular world and the book helped me a lot getting to know what kind of modules there are out there, backgrounds and about brands.

This book is pedagogical, informative, wide-ranging, and beautifully illustrated.
The place and overall order of the interviews are questionable, but the interviews are illuminating in themselves.
