I had a "plastic" red and blue small woodblock which I/ve used for many years, and they have always killed my ears because their high volumes... This wood block is mixing up perfectly with the sound, donen't kill my ears and it sounds very good!

I truly like this block! I think it's far better than any plastic blocks out there, as it produces a more organic sound and looks great as well. Creates a beautiful combo with my cowbell.
