Back when a proper drum mat was 2-300+, this mat was ok. It is closer to a normal rug than to a drum mat i think, the underside is not coated with rubber or with anything, so it slides like crazy. The bass drum stop is ok, but you dont need that to keep your bass drum from sliding. The size is also questionable. The thomann rug is beautiful, much bigger, coated with rubber and roughly for the same price.

R
Affordable and with a kick drum block!
Reminiscence 16.04.2020
Had one that got stolen, so I bought another one!
Rather light, affordable, discreet-looking, really stable.
I recommend it for the kick drum block!
I play hard and my kit never moved one bit with it!

It grips to the floor fine, most of the things on it stay in place just fine, you can mark positions on everything on the mat with masking tape and it won't get off if you put it in the bag.
However, my bass drum moves around a tiny bit.

Update: My entire set keeps moving every time I play and the bass drum left marks on my floor (but it was on the mat). DONT BUY THIS

Poor stability

This mat simply has no grip on a wooden/tiled floor, it's too light and it is in fact dangerous to walk on! There is a raised part on the mat for holding back the kick drum I presume, in reality it has no function whatsoever, it just gets in the way of the mic stand for the kick.
