Pearl TNK-10N/10 Tension Keeper

I use these Tension Keepers on a Pearl Free Floating snare with die cast hoops. I had the old problem of tension rods getting loose when playing hard rimshots and for longer periods of times.
After attaching the keepers the problems actally started to fade away. But I must admit I also started to try play more relaxed which probably reduces the force on the batter hoop when I play rimshots.
Still I would recommend to try these things out if you have the mentioned problem.

Does the job but have a tendency to fall off. Better that TAMA's version

Keepin your drums tuned all the time. No need for retuning as long as this thing is on your lugs!

Bought these recently for my snare and they do exactly what they say on the tin and not a bad price either . Will but more from Thomann

Of all the various rod locks out there, these are the only ones that keep the snare drum in tune during hard rimshots. Tried everything on the market and have been using these for years.
