I got this mallet for some new singing bowls but am sending it back due to disappointment with the performance and ergonomics. I didn't know it to look at, but the double ended mallets are more of a hinderance than a help for me. They don't feel right to my hand. You are better off with 2 separate mallets IMO.

I also have a softer Peter Hess hkFS-2w which produces a better sound from my bowls. I think these mallets are both too hard and too imprecise.

Overall verdict - too compromised.
