Daddario Guitar Head Stand PW-HDS

Bought this over the cork head stand because I wanted something that I could throw in my guitar case and take with me in case I needed to change a string on the fly. It works well enough, but can collapse if you make too many back and forth movements. Would've been nice if it had a locking mechanism for the legs. Still, great little tool at a small price.

For me, this all the head-stand I need. It´s like a camera-tripod, compact, but solid once set up. The stand itself is rubber-padded and it seems to fit every neck-size out there. It holds the guitar stable, so that cleaning and stringing the guitar is no problem, theres no movement in the feet and everything is well balanced and stable. So, it gets the job done very well, wich is what I was hoping for!
You should be carefull, however, not to put to much weight on this thing, as it doesn´t make a very "strong" impression to me.

Seems to be fine for home use, however I wouldn't use it in our rehearsal room, as it is not stable enough.

Very good for the price and really portable. They can't handle a lot of weight but they can do the job with no issue.

In my opinion the Head Stand from Planet Waves is very useful. The stand is small enough to fit in your pocket or guitar case and fulfills my expectations.
It makes string changes at my guitars with angled headstocks easier and faster, because I can use a stringwinder at every tuner.
It's a little bit shaky when folded, but at the using position it's stable and I don't worry about laying my guitar on it.

Great little tool for string change and minor guitar assembly works. Does what it promises. Not the most stable but not bad either. Great for the money value. Every guitar player should have one in their gear.

Guitar necks fit well and all is stable. Perfect for cleaning, restaurating and repairing tasks.

Price seems high, but it is a very useful tool.
