I hate messy cables, so I always like to have them neatly coiled and strapped when I’m not using them. These cable straps work better than velcro straps, which tend to stick to themselves, as well as collecting dirt and hair over time. The plastic clip that secures the strap to the cable can break after a few years, but they’re cheap and easy to replace.

I still don't know how to use them, but they seem really smart. Also they don't break when I play with them, snapping them back and forth like a stress toy, so that's a sign of build quality.

Best suits for 3m instrumental cable, for all other options it's not a perfect choice. I wish there were different sizes of straps in a pack.
Also a minor comment for those who cares about others in this COVID-19 reality: the paint layer is vulnerable to alcohol.

Forget about the velcro or plastic ties: these are a way better and much practical alternative.

First of all, you won't misplace them. They are attached to the cable at all times.

And second, they won't gather dirt or that random dust bunny.

The construction is pretty sturdy and works with a lot of cable lengths. On the other hand, they won't work on chunkier cables (like Fender ones) as the plastic part won't fit.

All in all, very recommendable in most cases.

Couldn't stand velcro anymore (well for some cables it still works pretty good especially live), these pieces of heaven really made me feel at home in the studio, when you have tons of cables to use and most of all to put back in your storage

Bought them to get rid of the let's call it "spaghetti syndrome", a quite common problem i had with all of my cables.
They do what they're made for, BUT not with all cables. I had some problems with thicker ones (The Spirit xxl), they still work, but it takes some strength.
A friend of mine used these things to fix a broken clotheshorse. Worked fine as well!

I bought these to harness the spaghetti mess off cables i have in my rig. Very versatile as you can loop and hang them in the most awkward places and positions. Try that with velcro.

These are probably the best cable ties a thomann has to offer, they are not perfect tho! unless you tape, glue or otherwise fasten them to the cable, they will sooner or later come off, at least with standard mic cables. They also wont work with short cables..

The loop also have a small chance of getting stuck on something

In my opinion better than the velcro alternative: looks professional and doesn't wear down as much. Only downside: fits only standard size cables (instrument, microphone, ...).
