I bought this product to record a virtual instrument. I wanted to start using it for my Youtube videos but I realised that everything I recorded got out of synch with my camera, even after 3 minutes. Compared to my Focusrite were the drift is barely noticable at 30 minutes. After 20 hours of problem solving and anxiety, matching sample rates, trying different computers. You know all that stuff. I came to the conclussion that it's the internal clock of the interface.
So I sent it back to Thomann which said it was nothing wrong with it. However I doubt the technician opened up a Da vinci resolve and recorded a video to test the drift... I got it sent back and then decided to give it a new chans. However every 5 recording I made gave me 5 minutes of added time to fix the audio drift. repeat that 100 times and you could have used that time of labor to buy a Focusrite which i have no issues with.
I contacted Presonous directly and showed them the bad drift. They said it was within their standards. Which leads me to the conclussion: Presonous standards most be exceptionally low. I'm actually here to order a Focusrite instead and try to forget that I spent 600 USD on this device which I'll have to put aside. It's a shame they couldn't at least take it back.
