An excellent audio network switch

I am using this network switch between the Series III StudioLive desk and two NSB 16.8 network boxes. The switch has enabled me to have the NSB's accessing different network points in the building, not just daisychained in the same room, and we can now have the show band off-stage during performances.

Can't really rate the sound for this product as it doesn't make, or have, a sound; there have been no issues with network drop-out and the sound is as you would expect from Presonus equipment.

Parfaitement intégré à l'écosystème PreSonus (normal, il est justement prévu pour...)
J'ai préféré mettre le prix et éviter des galères de compatibilité avec un autre switch, l'AVB étant déjà assez complexe sans rajouter des problèmes potentiels.
On l'utilise en configuration avec 3 tables (console 32 façade, 32R en monitor mix et 32R en stagebox)
Comme toujours, attention à la qualité des câbles RJ45! Le site PreSonus donne pas mal d'infos sur le sujet. Je déconseille le basique RJ45 d'entrée de gamme sur ce type de réseau.

Excellente machine digne de Presonus

Fabrication sans compromis, ce switch est solide comme un tank, rapide comme une fusée et particulièrement esthétique.
Comme j'aime bien faire une petite remarque, j'aurais bien aimé trois ou quatre petits patins de caoutchouc, et un switch secteur.
A part ça il est juste parfait !!
