Pro Mark H-Rods

This is my first set of H Rods so just getting in the Groove. Used them on Saturday for Dreamers Ball by Queen and they gave the softer feel I wanted, so some experimenting ahead !

I always have these hod rods in my arsenal. For my style of playing they are pretty long lasting and have nice grip and feel. Quality product!

Couldn't really comment on what I was expecting from these. I had been told they are good for a lower level of sound so for practise or as an alternative to using brushes, but i'm not convinced. They don't sounds like sticks or brushes to me, i'm sure they could be worked into playing as they have their own sound so, if you are looking for something that doesn't sound like normal drumming, then I would say give them a go!

Really nice for keeping the volume down. Life savers for small rehearsals, where a kit would usually overpower everything.

They tend to break, and chip off pretty fast though.
and I'm not too hard a hitter.

Still, I would recommend.

good sound, good quality, they don't break after an hour of playing so yeah id recommend

Amazing for unplugged and chilled sessions. Will definitely buy again
