Firstly, I thought this would be sticky in the hand and that someday, the coat might melt or something. But I've been using this for the longest time and so far, the only wear and tear that I notice is the chipping which is normal for all drumsticks.
This has a very nice feel on the hand especially for those who sweats a lot.
It took me time to adapt to the length because this is longer than the usual sticks I've used.

Perfect Grip Nice weight
DIRTYFONK 09.04.2022
I endeavoured to attempt to ascertain my preference in drum sticks, I tend to use other ppls old sticks but wanted to systematically test each size and weight as well as oddities and specialities, in which categort I was thinking of these. Usually out the blue improvements on classics are often unessasary capitalism but this smooth thin rubber covering works so well and so fulfils a need as I do drop sticks on a regular basis. The rubber paint is not sticky tho it just has the right amount of tack to keep it naturally in your hand. Not too pricey either. Dankashen!

No more flying sticks
Keffirs 08.10.2018
If its one of those days when for no reason your sticks fly all over the place and it feels like they get caught on every edge of the drums, then this is your solution.
Have been playing with these sticks for some time in live sessions and they are so far the best solution against losing my sticks.
Cons:
The active grip takes some time to warm up.
If your hands get sweaty, then they are even more slippery.

I needed a pair of sticks that would not move in my hand , this one is the best i have used , very balanced and suitable for all genres , its much much better than the wrappings you can add on your sticks because of the smoothness of the construction and also the not added thickness , very pleased overall

I like these, but..
Mancunian 07.08.2024
They break. And yes, all sticks break, but my vic's never broke in the past. I kept chipping away until the tip almost fell off before they broke. The last pair of Pro Marks broke after just a couple of rehearsals. We play hard rock to my cymbals do get a beating, but same goes for the vics, my style of playing has not changed. I will keep buying these, but i hope that the 5B version has a better chance against my cymbals.
