I have read good things about these sticks and was very eager to try them out. They look amazing and feel wonderful in the hands. A bit on the heavy side, but I like that, so no objections there. The balance is definitely different and takes some getting used to - you might not be able to grab the stick in the same place you usually do, but once you find the right spot they feel and bounce great. I have only tried them out on the practice pad so far (only got them 2 days ago), so I'm looking forward to using them on the drums.
The only objection I have so far is the tonal pairing of the sticks. I am well aware that this might not matter on the drumset, with the possible exception of some light cymbal doublehanded work. However, since I've only been using them on the practice pad till now, this bothers me somewhat - it makes it difficult to estimate if the rudiments are completely even over both hands. Other sticks usually have some pitch difference, but in this case it's more than a full step (almost a step and a half). On lower end sticks I usually buy several pairs, and mix them up if the pitch difference is really bad. Since I bought only one pair of these to see what they're about, I don't have that option available, but frankly, I wasn't expecting such a huge pitch mismatch on a premium pair of sticks. That is the only downside to these for now.
PROS: look amazing, feel great in the hands, balance is different but not weird and does not take a lot to get used to
PRO/CON: a bit heavier (I like it, but it might not work for others)
CONS: my pair had a really significant pitch difference between the sticks
