Pro Mark TX7AN 7AN Hickory - Nylon Tip
Irish William 21.06.2017
Since I purchased my first Drum kit off Thomann, I purchased a pair of Vic Firth American Classic Hickory 7AN sticks they were relatively good but they snapped after a while. A short while after that I purchased the Pro Mark TX7AN Hickory Nylon tip. Honestly they really did justice in fact they were perfect, they were very durable considering I am a very heavy hitter on the kit. I noticed myself becoming an even more versitile and swift, fast drummer. Just yesterday they split but I wasn't surprised its been months since i purchased them, they really served me well.
I recommend these sticks to anyone who is thinking of trying a new drumsticks or just starting off.

Comfortable and affordable

These drumsticks are very comfortable with a good grip. The nylon tip helps to provide a bright and clear sound. You will definitely enjoy this one if you like light and short drumsticks. Sound great for light songs with lower volume. I would highly recommend this one in regards to the price and quality of the product. Cheers

Good!
Anonymous 14.01.2016
I'd say it's worth getting a pair and trying it out for yourself! We all have our little quirks when it comes to what we prefer and such. But for what it's worth their a very good pair of drumming sticks. The feel nice, play well and I've seen a bunch of other really good drummers playing them and swearing by them!

Pros:
-So far very durable, if your not going bananas on the drumkit.

Cons:
Not really. So far everything was good!

A drummer's favourite
Anonymous 12.03.2015
I bought these for the drummer in my band so he uses these all the time so I was taking the tip from him. He finds these a great stick to do the alt-rock style drumming he does so he always gets the Promark's.

Basic in style, easy to grip and easy to use and they don't break too easy unless you go a bit crazy with them in your style which is only at the end of a set so at least that's good for us when we are playing.

Now he is needing another set so I guess I will be buying more then.

I am not a fan for nylon tips on acoustic kit, but on an e-kit this is just amazing. Quality is superb.

The nylon tip broke off

I don't see that much difference between wooden and nylon tips in sound, after all. The nylon tip broke off on a few pairs so that's clearly the weakest link here. Not as durable as fully wooden sticks.

Baquetas Pro Mark 7AN
Anonymous 21.10.2014

Very confortable
Cesar593 09.01.2015
These drumsticks are very good for rehearsing and low-level gigs, because they are very light and good shock-absorbing. The nylon tips are very good for fast cymbal action and consistent on long-term basis. The only thing I dislike about these drumsticks is their durability: if you play hard on the rims (in some types of music), these drumsticks are not for you, because the hickory tends to crack. Overall, good drumsticks for low volume playing.
