Good price/value

I use it to connect my XLR shotgun mic to external recorder with no XLR inputs(DR-05), works as has to.
Pros:
1)Price is almost as low as XLR connector itself(well at least in my town);
2)XLR connector seems to be good quality;
3)Wire has good flexibility for it to be hidden from camera.
Cons:
Just one- 3,5mm jack looks like it doesn't belong there, but so far no problems with that.

Final thoughts:
Good product for good price. Excellent sound solution for beginner video guys, non beginners should have recorders with XLR inputs.

Cheap alternative to an actual mixer/ audio interface
VladislavP 17.04.2017
I used this cable to connect my Samson Q4 microphone to my PC directly.
Obviously, the quality suffers, as the inbuilt sound card does not provide sufficient power, however it is still quite decent and extremely cheap (:.

With my motherboard (not sure if that makes a whole lot of difference but it z170i from Asus) feeding the power to the microphone, the quality is still sufficient for podcasts, etc, and the microphone is still quite loud with 0 boost (my subjective opinion of course).

However, I would recommend using your mic with an USB audio interface or the like to ensure the best sound quality. But I'm sure you know that yourself. This is just an "on-the-budget" option for when you're low on cash.

As for the cable itself, the quality is impressive: very well built, thick cable, sturdy jacks (not sure of metal, or metal-like plastic, but still great), and the 3.5mm jack has a coil so that the cable does not tear.

Decent cable
BPCMediaTeam 26.04.2021
The cable is very good and pretty strong.
The only downside is that when you have it in your hand it feels kinda cheap. But after using it almost an year now I can tell you it's just giving a wrong illusion. The cable is pretty decent for this price.

Just what I needed
Gain_Badger 16.12.2014
I'm using this to take the aux out from my Hotone amp to a mixing desk, where the signal gets blended with mic'ed input.
Connectors are neutrik for the XLR and don't know but it is a good'un for the 3.5. Soldering is O.K, cable seems fine so overall then, nothing to complain about, much to be content with.
Does the job, doesn't cost much.
