Good Quality Lifesaver

This cable has come in handy on many occasions, for example when plugging synthesizers with XLR outputs into balanced jack patchbays/soundcards and converting the outputs of an RME Babyface when no XLR input is available on the other end.

The build quality is excellent and I recommend getting a set of these and also the other model (1003 MJ) with male XLR for two way flexibility. Also, these are much nicer than single-piece adapters which stick too far out of equipment and can easily break inputs/outputs.

Useful cable

Inexpensive, useful cable for connecting balanced signals. Can never have too many of these types of cable around. Particularly useful as the terminals both unscrew so they can be easily repaired with a bit of solder know-how in case they break .

Perhaps not the hardiest of cables but great for home studio use.

Good to be able to buy odd little adapter cables without having to break out the soldering stuff.

Bought 4, 1 broke after 1 week
bvaes 20.04.2021
I bought 4 and use them to easily connect XLR cables to my patchbay. After one week, one of them broke. One of the solder joints on the XLR connector came loose. It's an easy fix if you can fix cables, but just beware and don't put too much strain on these cables because there is no real strain relief system on these connections.
