It's okay but not perfect

I only bought this cable because it was cheaper than soldering it. Its quality is really okay only one lock at the female XLR plug is sometimes jammed. You should buy a more expensive one if you want to use such adapter on tour or for professionel use.

Bought a couple of these. chose them as they were cheap and did the job. Would be inclined to say they might not be as durable as things with neutrik connectors but Thomann's products especially the pro snake cables are really good.

Much like my review for the MF5 these are very useful converters to have in your lighting box.

Some fixtures (such as the smoke factory tour hazer) have a 5 pin DMX IN/OUT and with the strong and good quality connectors this is a good value for money solution.
