The straight end malfunctioned after like 5 days of normal use. The shield wire suddenly begins to touch the tip. I've cut it and made the connection myself soldering iron.

Although I kind a knew what I was buying, I wasn't really surprised either to see it snapped like a twig. My bassist unfortunately stepped on it and it beheaded it in seconds. Seeing the wiring inside, it's poorly built. The sound is ok but nothing to get crazy about. It does the job but it's not for the road.
