The sound of the wires is OK, the speed release system is pretty cool but... the part where the wires are welded to the plate is catastrophic, the wires are welded unevenly and the end of the wires stick out, so the sharp part of the wire can easily break through the thin bottom snare head, I honed the end parts as I had just put a new snare head on the bottom but I don't think it's something that is acceptable for ''pro wires''.

Have tried these on a 14x6.5 steel snare and haven't been very satisfied with it. It is bit shorter in length and therefore doesn't cover the whole reso head from near-edge to near-edge. Also hasn't really made any difference in the ol' sympathetic snare buzz department. So all in all I either have a bad set of snares from the factory or these really are not worth the money I spent on them.
Try the equalizers from Pure Sound. They are excellent and worked a treat on another of my 14x6.5 snares. Wish I had bought two of the same kind (:
