I was hooked on my not so old Roland blues cube 30, sound, perfect for my style of music, gypsy jazz with my lady singer, into r&r, & easily does all my gigs.
My new quilter cub UK has my Roland sound and much more. I enjoy the cub uk's sweet magnetic pickup sound. On board eq is not really needed, but nice to have. The quilter cub just sounds great, from acoustic clean, right through to hendrix.
Almost bedroom friendly too, Happiest with (magnetic p'ups)...my solid has EMG hi Z p'ups, which drive the Cub even deeper into its heavenly sound.
I'm not really into the different amp inputs, I only need "that sound", the cub has it..
The quilter build is all round, good quality, maybe the control knobs move too easily, the combo cover included is nice.
Easily loud enough for gigs, A little expensive, but well worth it's remarkable sound.
