It's a solid TRS jack socket, I've used them to make DIY drums.
They work perfectly and are well built.

My only criticism of these is that there's now wrench-able part on the outside to hold while you tighten up the nut.

FYI: If you're drilling holes, it's a little bigger than 1cm, so make sure to get the correct sized drill bit. 👍

I bought this jack for my Marshall MG15 modification to a speaker. The solder points are a little bit too little but it's not impossible to solder a cable on them. A plug fits very strong so that you can't remove a cable by accident. The jack is also long enough to fit into a thicker piece of wood. This is a very good jack for very low money.

Unrelated to Thomann, the service of which i find excellent.

Lacking in quality, inflated in pricing, because it's an 'off shoot' of another well known brand, also overhyped, also overly expensive with nothing to show for it.
So many alternatives out there, just .. not offered by Thomann. Unsurprisingly given the nationality/location factor, but unfortunately so nonetheless.

Perfect to replace the old jack from an Epiphone bass. Good quality.

Bought it to replace some worn out jack sockets on the back of some old speakers, perfect for my needs due to their air tight design.

I had other brands of Jack Sockets and always issues. The Neutrick Jacks and sockets solved the problem. Very good quality

Whenever I need to replace any plug or connector I know that when choosing Neutrik / Rean I am making a good choice, there is no mistake, good quality material and good durability for a fair price.

Neutrik never makes bad stuff. If you want a reliable socket you can't use chinese no-name stuff. Neutrik units will last for years, well worth the higher price.
