Rean NYS 373-9

Excellent quality as you'd expect, easy to solder, and will take a decent diameter of cable, however they are very robust and give a very good tight grip on the socket. The only problem is when plugging into some domestic equipment it nearly pulls the socket out of the equipment when removing. Overall very good, but if you need something to patch in DJ's etc and are therefore plugging and unplugging on a regular basis maybe get something cheaper, if you want to patch something in semi-permanently, these are the things for you.

In my eyes I think this product pretty much doesn't need any big talk so here's what I've got.
It's Rean, a brand of Neutrik, the absolute standard of the industry, you can't possibly go wrong with buying this connector. It will last for generations, and it will keep you worry free during any event at any conditions. Nothing will replace it, and nothing will be more worth it, no matter how much cheaper it is.

The Neutrik-Rean NYS 373 is pretty much the only RCA plug I'm willing to buy since they will last forever in my use. I have no reasons to use any lesser product.

This model is also longer than the common cheapies to reach into recessed sockets and has adequate gripping surface to pull the plug off. It also features the renowned Neutrik's conical cable strain relief that'll grip the cable sheath properly instead of having the plug hanging off the conductors.

When I use RCA connectors, these are the ones. Very robust, very good soldering surface. They fit very very snug, it wont disconnect accidently, you got to really pull them hard to do so.
got these for years now, because of the gold plating, the conenctor and the solder don't oxidize. Very good!

Finding decent RCA plugs for DIY soldering was not easy .. I ended up with these Neutrik Rean ones after buying other brands and types, and am happy to say that FINALLY I've found what I was looking for. The gold plated contacts welcome the solder, and manufacturing is pretty straight forward. i also found their grip on the female socket to be *just* right. Only con: more color coded rings would be cool to have. Otherwise: these are highly recommended.

High-quality plug, I recommend. The white stripe is a simple thin elastic band. I think it's short-lived.

used them for video (Composite and components) and for audio.

What to say, it's Neutrik. Truthfully coming from the USA I think Switchcraft is a
superior product as far as connectors go, but difficult to find in Europe.....so Neutrik
is the best option.
