Produces quite a grainy sound which might be good for a jazz setting, but for anything else needing a bit more punch and clarity a clear skin would be best.

Not my usual choice as i usually use pin stripes but on this occasion i wanted a change, wish i hadn't as i ended up putting the old favorites on again. Each to their own with heads, its all down to personal taste. As a product though, i always go for Remo heads and buy from Thomann because of price and service.
