Hay muchos que se han quejado de los bordes afilados de estas planchuelas. No fue mi caso, pero todo se solucionaría poniendo una fina capa de cinta en sus bordes, ya que lo importante es que el traste sobresalga para poder ser tratado.
Es apropiado para un uso ocasional. De usarse muy seguido, hay en el mercado opciones de uso más cómodo.
Aparte del ahorro en cinta de enmascarar (o de papel) y de tiempo, dicha cinta siempre deja residuos, por lo que también te ahorras una limpieza de los mismos.

These are nice, edges smooth enough to not cut the rubber bands. All good! I'm a bit confused about the block, were I supposed to crown my frets with this?

I read reviews about these having a rough surface but mine were fine. There’s a smoothing stone included in the box if you need to deburr anything.

Those make my life much easier now when i when i do maintance on frets. Fits most of frets. To notice. May need some filing/sanding when ends are a bit sharp. Other than that top price and quality.

Quality of protecting plates is great as you would excpect, I use them at each polishing of frets. Only the material of rubber bands is questionable. They almost melted over some time. However I do not used them that much.

This is just one of those little things that you need to have at your home. You can easily polish that buzzy fret without all the tape procedure. Just put it on the fret, secure it with rubber and you're good to go.
