For ages I had been thinking about adding a loop switcher to my pedalboard, and when I finally did, I ordered a few of these cables as well.
I had already had a good experience with the rockboard flat patch cables, and the same is true for these. They are basically the same versatile cables, only these have a regular jack in one of the ends that fits nicely in the ins and outs of the loop switcher. A very convenient product - no extraneous noises and no apparent signal loss.
If I was a bit nit-picky in my review of the flat patch cables, suggesting sizes in between the ones available, in the case of these loop switcher cables, not having smaller sizes really is a negative point. This one (20cm) is the smallest size available, which is way too long to connect two boxes that are only 1cm apart. Not only it doesn't make for a tidy pedalboard, this also forced me to use well over 1m extra cable (for 4 fx loops) that did no good to my tone.
Overall this is yet another good and reasonably priced accessory by Rockboard. The only thing I'm asking for is to have versions of this with 5cm, 10cm and 15cm for me to buy - it's not too much to ask. I recommend these, but please make them shorter, Rockboard!
