I recently bought a Boss MS3 for a compact pedalboard. This unit has a number of expression control options, and I wanted to use a vol/expression pedal and external tap tempo switch. I looked at numerous TRS patch cables, however the jack plugs were all too large to fit into the space available.
The rockboard cables were the only ones that I could find with jack plugs flat enough to fit.
Apart from the size, I have used the standard mono rockboard patch cables on other boards, and have never had one fail on me, so I was confident that the quality would be good.
I have been using the new board with the MS-3 and expression pedals for the last couple of weeks, without any issues. The cables are neat, and solid.
I would highly recommend these.
