Rockcare Kit Pro

This is just an awesome maintenance kit. It's got everything you need and it comes in a very sturdy and handy bag. I can't imagine needing anything more when playing a gig.

+ Good kit for the price
+ Overall tool quality is sufficient
+ Feeler gauge is in mm and accurate enough
+ Multitool is definitively a plus.

- Cloth leaves fibers behind
- Ruler was a bit difficult to remove from its pocket and was not deburred.
- String winder does not work with my fender (squier) machine heads. (but after a few tweaks, it's working fine now)

For 50 euro I would expect something more. It feels cheap and like something you could just as easily get from one of the cheaper Chinese sites.

One thing that really bothers me, is that the zip is very hard to close when you opened the kit completely: there is nothing to hold on to when trying to close it.

The tools are good and pretty sturdy , but :
1) The cleaning spray came opened and spread all over the place ( so i can't rate it )
2) The allen keys can not be used for a floyd rose pro bridge !
Overall , very good !!!

The leather case is fine on the outside, but made designed on the inside. Everything seems awfully packed together with little room to get the tools in and out. The tools itselves are fine, but nothing to out of the ordinary set of tools that you can buy in a toolshop for little money. The elastic pockets won't last long, I presume. Wish they made it like a toolbox instead of the elastic bands holding things together.

Firstly if you have Fender guitar DO NOT BUY THIS KIT. The Allen key has no 0.050'' one so forget about setting your bridge (learnt the hard way). All the tools are here but the quality of the case is super poor. You can think about adding a bit more cash and going for something more sophisticated. Overall it's NEARLY good value for money but you can easily get something better

All the items you need but the case seems a little cramped and could have been slightly bigger for ease of extracting and inserting the tools.

Well, this kit contains everything you need for basic guitar maintenence.

My brother (guitarist) and i (bassist) have used this toolkit for numerous things and we love it. From cleaning to restringing and setting the action. It's all in there. I only wish the position of the rock'n ruler would be a bit better. It's impossible to take out without scratching the inside of that pocket.

This kit is great for the price. Anyone who has seen me use it, always asks where I got it and I point them in the direction of Thomann.
