Well made cart saves time on the get-in and get-out.
Sonovox 17.07.2013
The RockNRoller will be my third 'cart' for carrying equipment in and out of gigs. The first was a very clever fold-completely-flat upright aluminium trolley type, which was extremely light, folded up very small, and could carry quite a heavy load in terms of weight, but couldn't carry much 'bulk' as the load plate was quite small. Not recommended. The second is similar, steel, and better shaped to take larger bass-bins or heavy items that don't have castors. I still use that one for shifting larger single items around (bass bins etc.), but that's it's limit for me.

The need for the RockNRoller cart arose from playing in a new two-piece pub and club band. I was fairly content physically carrying my equipment in and out, but one of the more important venues objected to us travelling through the crowd so many times carrying just a few things at a time, citing public safety as their concern.

The RockNRoller allows me to empty a pair of 450w speakers, small guitar amp (Cube), monitor, various cable boxes, racks, drum machine box, speaker pole/mic-stand bag and a couple of guitars (in hard-cases) out of the car and onto the cart in one go. With the other guitar and laptop gig-bags slung over the shoulder, the get-in is reduced to just one trip through the crowd to the back of the club, and the same on the way out. Getting through a crowded pub is easier, as people part out of the way when they see the loaded cart coming. Needless to say, the RockNRoller is now used on every gig possible.

The cart is quite heavily built, taking up slightly more room in the estate car than my other cart, but more than makes up for it by being able to carry so much equipment in one go. This model, when extended to it's full length is about the same length as the case for my bass, but there are longer and shorter models to choose from in the range. Expanding or collapsing to and from it's fully folded condition takes about 15 seconds.

One other lesser-known point I'd like to make: I haven't had very much equipment stolen over the years, but when I have, it was something that was either in the club while I was at the car, or something in the car, while I was getting gear from the club. I am less worried about security now, as everything is in sight at all times.

I would highly recommend it for the car or van based small band or DJ setup for carrying many items in one go. Although it could still have use in a setup where larger bins, tops racks etc. are being moved around, I find my upright cart easier to use for this purpose.

Excellent cart!
RedSun 18.09.2013
I bought this cart to use it on a tour, to help us move our bulky stuff and generally the whole backline.
Day by day we loaded it with our 4x10" bass and guitar 4x12" cabinets, full drums set, and heavy tube amplifiers.
With two trips we always moved everything without breaking our backs and this is the most important thing, cause I have been injured in the past due to heavy cabinet lifting.
This cart is fairly light, very durable and fully customisable to suit your length and usage.I think the price is also very good.

The most vulnerable spot is in it's wheels which are not suited for very rough surfaces so watch out not to load it with max weight.I guess it is better to look at the all terain model if you have a plan to use it on rocky roads, mud etc...
In flat surfaces we loaded it many times with around 150 kgs without any problem.Well the description says 227kg max load but I would't load it so much even in perfect conditions tbh but I tend to be protective to my products.
At the end of the day, all the crew and band members came in to an agreement that this turned out to be one of the best purchases!

Nowdays when I don't use it to carry bass cabinets, we use it at home to move furnitures or carry wood for the fireplace :)
It can just do it all all day long.Highly recommended!

MM
Versatile tool and a back saver!
Malmö Motion Pictures 01.08.2020
Since buying the RockNRoller R8RT I have used it on three occasions. Every time it's such a relief lugging heavy equipment using the roller instead of carrying. The roller itself is a sturdy build but not too heavy. Well, it's not a lightweight tool but considering the capacity. Also, it can be extracted to an extent.
The front wheels can be locked but I found them to be somewhat flimsy and would not trust them too much leaving gear in a slope.
I also use the roller in combination with the RSHM2T Multi-Media Shelf which is great for live streaming. To sum it up; it's a back saver and a cost effective transport device that does the job every time. Highly recommended.

This has changed my life
Whitts 16.09.2018
This amazing piece of kit has halved load-in times, saved my back, prevented gear from getting nicked, prevented gear from getting broken. ITS AMAZING.

Clearly, you could say this about any trolley, but this trolley is the perfect size! When it's open to maximum capacity the width and depth has been perfect from everything to amps, bass drums, hardware trolleys, all of which are notorious back breakers. And when it's folded down its small enough to fit into the back of the car for the load-in at the venue!

I fit an entire 22" 4-piece kit with hardware on this trolley and (with ramp-free access) load onto the stage in one go.

The large wheels have tackled festival fields and gravel without much problem.

Make sure you buy a couple of bungee cables for the sides to keep everything upright.

Good for the price
rec.stop 26.12.2018
For this price is a great product. I use ti like cinema trolley. The screws quality is very poor but it' easy to replace them. I like the versatility. With the "all terrains" wheels the system becomes incredibly strong and useful.

The best investment you will use
LiveSam 25.08.2015
I cart a lot of gear. I have a Ford Fiesta, and all my gear goes into it by hand. I use to individually take out all the gear. Very time consuming, bought a cheap roller cart but it was too noisy and also it didn't fit all my gear. Got this and nearly all my gear goes onto it. Its reliable and sturdy. Love it!

Pros
- Sturdy
- Well built
- Good wheels
- Easy on the ears on ground
- Small enough to be fitted into the car
- Multiple configurations
- Last you a long time
- Comes with locking wheels

Cons
- I guess now we need a cart that is automated and drives itself. ;-)

We load rack cases, plastic cases, computers, lights, light stands onto it. It moved like you just moved an elephant.

I highly recommend it to anyone who has to move gear around! This will probably last for years to come!

Can’t fault it.
Petetothebeat 07.09.2023
I’ve been using it for a few months for mainly a drum kit. I can’t fault it. It’s saving me a fortune of time for load ins. 4 piece kit, throne, cymbals and rug fit easily.
