All MiCon adapters have a small issue with the connection of the cable on them. You need to make sure that the cable is connected tight enough. It is more apparent if the cable is bent near the connection. You can use the proper tool that is inside the Rode Lavalier's case to tighten and most importantly un-tighten the connection and connecti/remove the cable. If you tighten it by hand you might get intermittent crackling noises and long term destroy the adapter. On the other hand the cables themselves seem to not mind this force long term.

Not much to be said, it does what it's meant to do. Seems very rugged.
